The dark hair, the makeupless photos, the ugly ripped clothing... She's turning back into what she was before I started liking her. Before a LOT of people started liking her. I think she's making a number of bad choices. Let's just hope the music makes up for it, cuz at the end of the day, that's obviously what matters. But man I gotta admit I'm feeling down on her right now. It's not any one thing, but all the little things adding up to an image I just can't get behind. ETA: By the way I'm reading this thread now, and it's clear I'm far from the only person who feels this way. I find comfort in that. Don't worry, you're entitled to not like anything she does. Just because you are a fan of hers does not mean that you have to accept everything she does and be okay with it - you don't. I went through a really bad phase last year during the European leg of the BTWB because I felt like she was making a lot of awful decisions (fur, weed, brown hair etc) and it took me a while but I eventually just realised that while I don't have to like what she's doing and I can have an opinion, it was easier for me to just let go of my preconceived ideas and just see where she takes us. Thank you for your kind words! It's hard to find people who can respectfully disagree on here. I feel like I have to LOVE LOVE LOVE everything she does or I should be ashamed haha. It's so silly. Ultimately, I could be misinterpreting. Perhaps she's just having fun at a festival with her friends and this won't be what the ARTPOP era is like at all. I'm hoping that's the case!
