Kermit the frog 1,921
Bloody Mary I'm cool with DJWS being the producer, Gaga just knows him and his style and that's why she chose him to do the lead single. But I'm really surprised that the single isn't finished 100% after one year tbh I just hope it doesn't end up being overproduced like BTW.
Guest
. So only radio friendly songs can be good songs?? The logic Learn to read, I said AND, not BECAUSE... I hope she takes the direction I think she's taking, but most of the stanbase is not ready for what will most likely happen if she does.
ooooooops 0
Its good that NME is soooooo critical of Gaga. They hate basic pop trash, lets hope ARTPOP changes their minds.... Also they have good taste. They love Bjork etc. HAHAHA OMG YOU ARE SO DONE FRIEND
Fame IV 4,426
Ugh, not here for DJWS shade based on his recent works. (I mean, Bloody Mary is even one of the best songs off BTW production-wise) Gonna watch you as you jump on his bandwagon as soon as the single is released. Bye. :reductive: P.S: I feel like most of you have lost faith in Gaga after the BTW era, and that is completely absurd. :pukey: I agree, but BTW era was amazing, the best for me. The album was fresh and exciting from beginning to end. If fans don't like Gaga's work anymore, go away! I have faith in Gaga. The single will be flawless. Karun 0
I have no idea what NME is haha. tbh I feel like you got your opinions from YouTube comments and that site is basically a cesspool of racism, homophobia, and all-around stupidity anyway. I'm still not seeing any proof that it wasn't perfectly well-received by GP and her fanbase. Quite the opposite, really. Also nice try pulling rank but I don't really give a damn that you were lurking on YT while I was out living my life haha. Don't try to out-fan people, it's silly. Every damn gaga fan knows what NME is. If you were during BTW you would know the entire interview controversy, review controversy, gaga's tweet etc etc.................. JanPianoMusic 730
Really happy DJ White Shadow is the lead single's producer! That Judas remix is my JAM. I'm not that much of a fan of Bloody Mary, but Government Hooker's beat is incredible. Excited AF You will never please everyone.
NotherClub365 105
I saw him post that last night and thought since it wasn't on GGD that he was talking about his own single...so pumped!!

I mean yes, she/interscope made a few mistakes regarding strategies and singles but the music is not that evil as production and music masters in this thread make it sound like. :hipster:
Kermit the frog 1,921
BTW wasn't overproduced. Gaga wanted to produce the song in that way and she did whatever she wanted. Still feels like too much background noise for me.

Karun 0
HAHAHA OMG YOU ARE SO DONE FRIEND I know this is a different debate but bjork IS exceptional. Not many ppl know her music well. AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,734
Guys im sure she has pushed him and her collaborators VERY far. The single could literally sound like everything he's done before, or NOTHING like anything he has done before
