First ARTPOP Single Producer Revealed

Is this absolute confirmation that he is the producer of the first single?

I was hoping for Zedd or Madeon. But whatever I guess. I will judge the song when I listen to it, not before it's released.

Nope it's not, like someone said, a producer could do a song and have someone else master it, but hey that won't stop the usual flops from going into meltdown mode

Yes, because Gaga doesn't have enough singles by him already.

He's not on AP so I'm not getting my hopes for anything - but when he get's it right, he's amazing. I'm all for Gaga pushing forward, but I think when you weigh it up - RedOne was pretty instrumental in defining Gaga's sound. Hopefully they'll work together again.

That doesn't necessarily mean that she didn't like it or have nothing to do with the production of the song. Maybe that was the point; she wanted the song to be HER record of the decade too. :laughga:

well thats what I meant.  Whenever anyone complains that Born this Way album was "loud" and "messy", they forget that Gaga is the one who wanted it that way.  Personally, I don't hear it that way at all.  I swear some people just want one synth and a beat.

(except for the fact that I wanted the lead to be Burqa :cryga: )

Holy f**k I thought I was the only one.  :cryga:

You guys, this is a song that she herself and her label have been sure it's the 1st single for over a year, even though she's recorded lots of material after it.

Obviously it's one of those pop songs that are an instant hit so you don't need to worry.

I agree - so boring. I like Born This Way. :) I'm couldn't see my Gaga collection without it.

I think he's good and I think they're both gonna surprise us with something very unexpected, I'm getting very excited now

That can be applied to any other producer...

HU is hardly a masterpiece...

I'm not here for a GH 2.0 . It was the messy and overproduced .

The DJWS remix is how the album version should've sounded like. And I'm afraid that she'll destroy the lead single as well.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong

It's also a RedOne production, not DJWS

DJWS is part of Gaga's TEAM, yes her team. This means that he helps out with her music, the fact that he is finishing up the single with her doesn't mean he is the sole producer or in charge of anything less or more than just finishing up the mastering. Think of how many people right now are 'working' on the single right now.

Sorry. Rant: over.

The single is going to be good, but lets just hope and pray that DJWS is nowhere near "The next one" :derpga:

I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.

Nobody said they were trying to recreate anything.

I think just overall some of his productions are meant to have that dirty, hard sound.

I agree the remix was better than the album version because of the uptempo but at the same time he created both versions so as much as you think he flops he succeeds. Secondly, the lead single wouldnt be the lead if it wasnt Gaga putting her best foot forward after the blackout. She is re-inventing her image and her sound. She isnt going to pick a sub par song to kick off the era.

No, it's actually a Garibay + DJWS production.
