I will judge the song when I listen to it, not before it's released. He's not on AP so I'm not getting my hopes for anything - but when he get's it right, he's amazing. I'm all for Gaga pushing forward, but I think when you weigh it up - RedOne was pretty instrumental in defining Gaga's sound. Hopefully they'll work together again. Maybe that was the point; she wanted the song to be HER record of the decade too. well thats what I meant. Whenever anyone complains that Born this Way album was "loud" and "messy", they forget that Gaga is the one who wanted it that way. Personally, I don't hear it that way at all. This means that he helps out with her music, the fact that he is finishing up the single with her doesn't mean he is the sole producer or in charge of anything less or more than just finishing up the mastering. And I'm afraid that she'll destroy the lead single as well. Nobody said they were trying to recreate anything. I think just overall some of his productions are meant to have that dirty, hard sound. I agree the remix was better than the album version because of the uptempo but at the same time he created both versions so as much as you think he flops he succeeds. Secondly, the lead single wouldnt be the lead if it wasnt Gaga putting her best foot forward after the blackout. She is re-inventing her image and her sound.
