Sara 1,128 Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 I have to admit I love her long videos and I'm a little disappointed this is a short one.It's always dangerous to sacrifice your art to try and fit into the attention span of the general public.The only reason I can think of for NOT making Applause into a 15 minute masterpiece is that the subject matter of the song "Applause" is light-hearted and maybe doesn't fit well into an artistic short film.So, if this is just a fun video, then making it the song-length is appropriate. :) Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Im quite sure that Gaga is stressed because her fans are kind of a mess. She even made a video & a few hours ago, when Applause just dropped one position on iTunes so many fans started the flop ****. I think it's more challenging for Gaga to put everything in a short video actually. And it's kinda refreshing to see that she's not going for the typical long video. There will be plenty of videos left that she can make into minimovies. I think the Telephone continuation for example will be a mini movie again. And she said it would be on ARTPOP, right?
