To have someone that stands on such a mainstream pedestal offer, not only their support, but their voice for the outsiders of society is an amazing thing. But it's because Gaga is an outsider too. The speech was great and the National Anthem was amazing. She referenced ARTPOP and BTW like 5 times, namely the phoenix being healed and turned back into a swan.
