Spanish Eyes 2,214 Posted June 14, 2013 Share Posted June 14, 2013 It's really pretty! I would use a different tone instead of the guitar. It just doesn't fit the orchestral feel. I definitely needed help with this as I was feeling pretty stuck and unsure over the past while. I've uploaded a 2nd demo with some changes, it's more complete than the first. http://soundcloud.com/xjustebx/dance-in-the-dark-orchestral-1 Again, I'd love to hear any thoughts or feelings you have about it. I've re-instated the original electric guitar, which does sound a lot more 'synthy' but harmonizes a lot more and mixes a lot better with the orchestra and is less, screechy lol. If I may give some ideas: when it's finished and (if) you decide to put vocals, on the "Marilyn,Judy, Sylvia..." part, I would alter the vocals to where she sings that and does not just speak it.
