I don't feel the same about albums like BTW, The Fame, RED or Speak Now.
Ozzy8923 9
42. Britney Spears - Ooh La La Well... Looks like they even have enough sense not to buy it. It's following a similar trajectory to S&S. Edited June 17, 2013 by Ozzy8923
Americano 31,061
Surprised it's not higher.
Ozzy8923 9
Now it's at the point where it'll rise slower because it's against stronger selling songs. I predict it'll remain in the lower regions of the Top 40 for the rest of the day and hopefully crack the Top 10 in a few days. I estimate around 70K-100K opening week. Americano 31,061
I really don't think this song will be big. but we'll see. I'm always rooting for Britney but it's just.. not good.. I dont know if her name is big enough to save it. The chorus is literally so flat that it's awkward to even listen to Edited June 17, 2013 by Americano
Marco 731
Britney's new song is so bad It fits the movie but other than that I don't see it being very successful..
nick4bty 2,758
There's just not much going on. After you've heard the first verse and chorus, you've pretty much heard it all. And that awkward Ke$ha rap at the pre-chorus is so strange. I'd say 50,000-70,000 is an accurate prediction. #Beautiful is the perfect summer song. I can't get over how good it sounds on the radio. Hopefully it keeps rising on radio! If it keeps steady on iTunes it should be able to go platinum.
craig 680
I can see albums like 21 or Teenage Dream still selling a great amount of copies in years to come. I don't feel the same about albums like BTW, The Fame, RED or Speak Now. The Fame is a classic pop album like Teenage Dream, only bigger. Adele`s sales could go the way of Norah Jones or Dido over time.

Mills 446
As I've earlier said, I'm glad that Ooh La La is just a soundtrack single. I was expecting it'd be selling higher at this point.
Cherry 17
I can see albums like 21 or Teenage Dream still selling a great amount of copies in years to come. I don't feel the same about albums like BTW, The Fame, RED or Speak Now.Teenage Dream is not going to sell amazingly in the long run. Its current sales are actually pretty shameful considering how much promo went into the album and how big the hits were. It won't hit 4 million anytime soon unless she dies or something, and you can quote me on that.
nick4bty 2,758
The Fame is a classic pop album like Teenage Dream, only bigger. Adele`s sales could go the way of Norah Jones or Dido over time. I would replace Dido with Alanis Morissette, since Dido was never "huge" to begin with. Both of these women could have had huge success after JLP, but they essentially chose not to. They chose to go the artistic route and make music that spoke to them, that sounded different from what made them sensations in the first place. Adele has the same choice - she can make 21 Part 2, with big songs that fit radio (and if that's what she wants to do, good for her), or she can use her success to do something completely different (and as well, if that's what she wants to do, good for her). Alanis and Norah still have respectable fan bases, they still sell albums, and they can still get a song on the radio. But I love the fact that they didn't sell out and chose to go down their own unique creative paths. I'm not saying Adele has to sell out *coughcoughKatyPerrycoughcough*, but it will definitely be interesting to see what she has in store for the content and sonic structure of her next album. Mills 446
Even though I'm a huge fan of Teenage Dream, given the kind of success its multi-platinum singles have and not to mention a re-release, the overall album sales of it is pretty abysmal. Mecano 1
The Fame is a classic pop album like Teenage Dream, only bigger. Adele`s sales could go the way of Norah Jones or Dido over time. The Fame has classics but Gaga's actual image damage its appeal, It could change if she is loved again with her new releases. Adele had 2 hits that people really loved, and Rolling In the Deep is one of the most praised songs by a woman in history. If we compare, Norah Jones never had a stand out single and Dido songs are modest hits at their best.
