Bad 32
oh God .. ATRL will be so embarrassed now for accusing Gaga what does "album only" mean? It means you can only get the song by buying the album.

Cherry 17
Dumb move on Interscope's part because they would make more money selling the "Blurred Lines" single than they would selling a few extra digital copies of the album. And that's assuming they do move substantially extra copies of the album, which they won't. People will just download it illegally (or buy it from another site like Amazon). Marco 731
They're not trying to help Gaga's sales, they're trying to help Robin's album sales. :megaflop:
Ty3009 232
Has this ever been done with a pop artist before that we know of? Soundtracks pull this **** all the time but I've never seen it for a specific artist. It's an...interesting strategy. I wonder if it will substantially increase album sales. Bad 32
B.o.B. did it with Airplanes Pt 2 and Fergie did it with Glamorous. It helped B.o.B's sales and Airplanes had high airplay so it didn't fall that much on the Hot 100. Glamorous fell #9 to #33 the week they removed it so they put it back the next week. Pop Art 1,773
SummerTime Sadness is #9 right now (#10 if you include Blurred Lines). It's actually at #13, because both Cruise and Treasure push it down, since they have two versions as well. Edited August 3, 2013 by The Night
Pure Adrenaline 1,518
As beneficial as the new streaming rule may be for some, i think it's truly ridiculous how Same Love will end up being a bigger hit than Yoü and I (radio wise, sales wise and youtube wise) yet Same Love fails to reach top 10. r u on something It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
Freddy 4,421
Same Love = 1m sales, 63m views You and I = 2,35msales, 66m views The VMAs did push the single alot and it peaked higher on the digital chart, hence why it got a better peak imo Edited August 3, 2013 by Freddy
