Pop Art 1,773
Hey, guys! With a bit of Googling, I found PBTHAL's vinyl rips for The Fame, The Fame Monster, and Born This Way. TF and TFM have been uploaded and the download links are below. Enjoy! :) The Fame - Part 1 The Fame - Part 2 The Fame Monster Are these lossless as well? :O Oh and where is Born This Way?
unpetitmonstre 0
Does anyone have 24bit 96kHz rips? I'm not interested in CD bitrate.
Sagerauru 1
Are these lossless as well? :O Oh and where is Born This Way? I am uploading BTW to MediaFire now. When I posted those this morning, it was getting really late for me to be up and I had to try to get some sleep so I didn't have time to get it uploaded. Once it's on MediaFire, I will amend my post to include the links for Born This Way. :) Does anyone have 24bit 96kHz rips? I'm not interested in CD bitrate. I haven't downloaded it yet but I did come across a 24bit/96kHz rip of The Fame Monster this morning before crawling off to bed. You can find it here. I found one for The Fame but all of the links seem to be down so I'm going to keep looking to see if I can find the files elsewhere.
k-rated 0
Does anyone have 24bit 96kHz rips? I'm not interested in CD bitrate. Keep in mind, that all PBTHAL rips are done in high-res (24bit, 192kHz) and are dithered afterwards to 16bit/44.1kHz using very advanced algorithms. If you want to learn more about what he uses -> http://www.izotope.com/tech/mbit/. I would prefer hi-res files, too. The rips are from mid-2010, now PBTHAL is offering his rips in hi-res. But it comes down to two things, ripping vinyl. The pressing (see other quote) and the equipment! For PBTHALS rips we have the best source material + super hq equipment. Even if you there are some hi-res files around, from other rippers, it would always compare for myself. I often found some more "lazy" rippers, may offer hi-res files (even if the hardware used does not even work in 24/96 internally). So i'm totally with you, but if you are a sound enthusiast, go check out the PBTHALS rips, even if they're "just" redbook 16/44.1. Are these lossless as well? :O Oh and where is Born This Way? Yes, they are lossless! BTW -> Born This Way - Part 1 Born This Way - Part 2 Born This Way - Part 3 I haven't downloaded it yet but I did come across a 24bit/96kHz rip of The Fame Monster this morning before crawling off to bed. You can find it here. I found one for The Fame but all of the links seem to be down so I'm going to keep looking to see if I can find the files elsewhere. This one is hi-res, true - but i would recomend all of you to compar the rip, to the one by PBTHAL (from the promo). Why? The promo-vinyl wasn't pressed on picture vinyl and so has much less surface noise. Plus the channels are not so well balanced (one is quiter than the other) und and there are some cracks, debris on the hi-res rip, linked above. (The BTW rip by PBTHAL can be found on this blog, too). But find out for yourself!
niicoland 0
I'm downloading a 5.1 Vinyl rip of Born This Way, idk how is going to sound but it better sound ****ing good, its 3.7 gb.
k-rated 0
A 5.1 vinyl rip? That does not make any sense. It could by a vinyl sourced up-mix, but there is no way, that there is a "5.1" vinyl. If you are "just" interessed in great sound quality, check out PBTHALs rip posted by Sagerauru! (And probably save the 3.7 gb ;))
