12) Blinding

13) You've Got the Love

14) Swimming

15) Heavy in Your Arms

The basic edition doesn't have Swimming nor Heavy In Your Arms.

My edition contains these ones on the 2nd disc:

1) Bird Song Intro

2) Bird Song

3) Dog Days Are Over (Demo)

4) Falling

5) Hardest of Hearts

6) Ghosts (I'm Not Calling You a Liar demo)

7) Girl with One Eye (Bayou Percussion)

8) Swimming

If you're just discovering FATM, then Lungs is enough to get you hooked but still, Hardest of Hearts has got to be their best b-sides. Never understood why it didn't make the cut, definitely my second favorite of theirs, next to Howl! :flutter: (I'm so glad they played it when I saw them in Lyon a few years ago.)

Where's: I'm Not Calling You A Liar, Over the Love, Only If For A Night, Seven Devils and Bird Song (not the intro)? #Floplist

I didn't include Over the Love because it's not on their albums, and Bird Song can be in the same place as the intro. But I was sure I included OIFAN and SD, I need to check that out. If I omitted them i'm an actual flop :nooo:

This thought just came to me. Both of her first albums' titles (Lungs and Ceremonials obvs) reflect the sound of the music, not the themes of it. For example,

Lungs:

Welch explained to Mojo magazine August 2009 the album title: "I've done a lot of gigs where it's just been me singing, and playing a drum. Drums are really important to me they're like the heartbeat of music, and I think of the voice as the lungs. If you strip it down to its bare elements, that's what it is, the lungs and the heart. The rest of the band is the body."

Ceremonials:

Welch told A Journal Of Musical Things the album title was inspired by some video art. She explained: "Years and years ago, I saw an art exhibition and there was this video art piece called 'Ceremonials.' It was done in the 70s and was done in Super-8 and it's kind of Coquette-sy - there's that documentary called Coquette about this 70s theatre troup that lives in San Francisco and I came kind of obsessed with it. This video piece is all about these processions and it's kind of colour based and everyone's wearing masks and there's all kinds of different colours...coloured balloons...and strange ceremonies going on. That word - ceremonies - got stuck in my head. And then went it came to this album which was influenced by hymns and poems and sounds of church bells. There's kind a lot of ceremonial influences and aspects to it, so it seemed to fit."

So I hope she follows the same standard and: a) makes the title a plural noun (consistency) and b) relates the title with the overall sound of the album.

Alcina Dimitrescu

I'm currently here to say how much I loathe this image

It looks like she touched crap and then stuff fell on her hands.

EDIT: Regarding the post above, yeah, Ceremonials rythms all sound like they belong to of religious ceremonies. Many religions.

I HATE IT, it's overused AS HELL, it's like her version of that FameGa pic :smh:

I am stanning so hard for 'Blinding' right now! :worship: :worship:

It's so amazing and haunting, one of my favourites from Lungs and the instrumental is even more haunting omg

when will she release new music?

Probably in late 2014, she wanted to take a year off since their label wasn't pressuring about her 3rd album and judging by Flo's instagram, the only thing she has worked on is Over The Love for The Great Gatsby soundtrack :)

Dayman

Is anyone else reminded of Spectrum when they hear the bridge of Applause? The vocals both have the same vibe. :flutter:
