People were so lucky with their free Fame gifts - Superd--g gave me a t-shirt, which I later opened to find out was to promote Madonna's perfume and was too small for me anyway 

In Australia they are practically giving away the Fame Promo sunglasses, first it was available in the showbag with 100ml/ rollerball/ poster and sunglasses, and now its available as a gift with 30ml or 100ml hahaha i went into a shop yesterday and they had stacks of the sunglasses on display lol i have 2 now :D

How have I only just found this thread?! I spend a large portion of my life asking for gaga promo stuff, especially when the Fame perfume was released. Thankfully I seem to be the only major little monster in my city so there's not too much competition ;)

Here's my pride and job, a massive display unit for Fame. It's the same size as the assistant who gave it to me. Unfortunately I then had to get it back to my car.....during my lunchbreak at work....and it started raining...

Promo cube and bag for Fame

Gaga displays from HMV. The telephone one was a major prob to get. I was promised it by a member of staff then when I went to pick it up, a supervisor refused to give it to me. I pointed out the staff member who said I could have it then, after disappearing for 20 minutes, they finally let me have it.......after having a go at me for asking for it in the first place!!! I helpfully reminded them how the store gave away some Avatar standees the week before (they had people buy raffle tickets to win them), then advised them to train their staff better and ran off with gaga tightly under my arm ;)

Got loads more posters and stuff but they're in storage at the mo :)

omg. I was offering cash to employees at FOUR different macy's near where i live and NO ONE would give me a cube.

 

it was DEPRESSING. Store after store, manager after manager... no luck AT ALL.

I love promo items!

I'm not in my room at the moment but from the top of my head I've got..

 

Fame showbag that came with the promo sunglasses & poster, Fame vanity case, Fame nails, about 100 of those little white fame tester cards that I take everytime I go to Myer 

 

I have a promo magazine with the BTW deluxe cover on the front that Chica sent me from the secret santa we did back in 2011

 

I got one of the large paper bags from Gaga's Workshop when I bought things online, as well as the card with info on profits going to the BTW Foundation.

 

I have a bundle of promo CDs from my CD collection, many UK & US promos, as well as one off promos.

 

That's all I can think of, but will post if I know of more. :)

ok so my post was eaten by the server but basically I said to befriend record shop employees, entertainment store employees, movie theater workers NOW and casually bring them donuts or cookies or pizza NOW so that when ARTPOP and Machete Kills come by you can more easily obtain promo material in your area :nick:
