Gaga Promotional Memorabilia Collectors

This thread is for all the hardcore Gaga fans who search for, collect, and cherish the vast amount of promotional Gaga memorabilia that's out there.

Such as:

-- Advertising posters from stores and companies

-- Store Displays and Cardboard Cutouts

-- Advertisments printed in newspapers, magazines and digital media

-- Leaflets, stickers, paper ephemera that was destined to be thrown away.

I will be listing the names of stores to call in each country, and updating this list as we go along.

well HMV canada and best buy canada adn walmart canada sometimes have promo stuff, i havent gotten any yet. i have some flyers that i will post pics of later :D

I have one of the security sensor posters used in HMV. It's grey with the picture of her standing sideways with a shoe on her head, with some information about Born This Way and a T-Shirt. Its about 1.5 metres tall.

Here's what I have so far...

Barnes & Noble, Box the Terry Richardson books were shipped to stores in (asked for):

Best Buy, Aisle end card (stolen :twist: ):

Wallgreens, Small CD display (holds about 5) (stolen :twist:):

Barnes & Noble, Waist High US mag & BTW display (asked for):

I also ordered these for myself for Christmas:

I'm going to frame them and put them next to each other.

I also have a tall Terry Richardson display from a Books a Million they're supposed to call me about.

...You can ask for those things? AND THEY'LL GIVE THEM AWAY?! Oh my goodness, guess what my new favorite past time is!!

Right now I have five posters (TFM shoot, Poker Face shoot, the Gaga Photobucket Promo poster, a Just Dance Promo poster, and the BTW poster) and a window cling that came with something I bought (I can't remember what, it looks like the Telephone UK single)

But I will definitely be calling stores from now on.

I asked for some promotional posters when they were taking them down to put up some Glee posters, and they said no. :roll: FLOPPY NORWAY IS FLOPPY. :cry: I cried so much, you guys have no idea. Not really tho.

Sometimes they have to send them back to a department that distributes promotional stuff and sometimes employees want them. It sucks but you should definitely try getting something with the next release.

So true. I have been doing this for years with my Lion King Memorabilia :)

and I've liberated a few too when nothing else worked

I'm going to write a long tutorial about how to do this successfully because I swear to God everyone reading this deserves a shot at TRULY COLLECTIBLE material like this. 95% of store displays are manufactured with the ultimate intention of destroying them at a later date.

Collectors like us break that cycle.

So true though. I heard from a Disney collector that when Disney closed most of their mall stores the dancing figurines in the windows were ordered to be destroyed. Apparently the ones that got smuggled out are going for like $1000 + now. It really sucks because of the people that want to enjoy them.

I like the tutorial idea. Let me know if you need some consulting.

God, I wish I would have had the guts to ask the guys at FYE for the BORN THIS WAY cardboard display with a cutout of Lady Gaga before it disappeared. :cry:

I have born this way posters. 3 to be exact. They all look like this. The shop people gave them to me when I rang up.

(Made it in like 5 minutes, don't judge :hausofdance:)

2 of them are A3, one of them (from another shop) is like double the size.
