I was at that concert that see saw your meat dress! I had seen you early that night, and it was an amazing outfit! LadyJamie 11 Posted November 17, 2011 Author Share Posted November 17, 2011 Again, not really an outfit, just wanted to share an experience - don't think it needs it's own thread. SO. Nicola tweeted he was going to be in Toronto on Monday, and the event was yesterday- Wednesday. I freaked out because a) I worked from 9-5 that day and b) He's one person I have wanted to meet for a while, but he's never been anywhere near me. So I frantically had to switch my shift on Tuesday, the event was a Mugler SS12 preview, so it was invite only, no way to get in. Our plan was to just sit at an escalator until he came up. After I managed to switch my shift to nothing, I went down to Toronto at like 10am because we had found out his hotel. I sat outside at the starbucks for like 6 minutes, got a hot chocolate, plopped my panda plushie and gift on the table and waited. I didn't really have to wait for long because he came out of the hotel to come get a coffee. I was like NICOLAAA!!!!! And he was like hold on, Ill go get a coffee and come sit. So.... I had a coffee with Nicola Formichetti... = I dont even know, what the hell. But my 2 friends who had waited the day before for him and had no luck I felt bad for so I told him that night we planned to be outside of the show. And he says "I'll let you in" O______O So he signed my picture and we got a photo and he went back to the hotel. I talked to him about opening a pop up store in Toronto, and other panda stuff. So i had no idea if he was serious about the mugler show because my friend who is into fashion said that there was no way we could get in. So we went to the show and went up to the security and were like Nicola said we could come? O_O And the woman was like, no sorry, we dont have your name on the list, its not that we dont believe you, blah blah.... But then someone with Nicolas team came and apparantly told them it was okay, and he had met nice people at the Starbucks. So we got in, with like 6 monsters. Omg, it was wondrous, I have never felt so fancy. Free champagne, wine, duck and quiches, and the new mugler collection. He came over and talked to us for like 10 minutes. He is the SWEETEST man ever. Like... I dont care if he starts making ****ty clothes at one point, he is a DOLL! And when we left we got Thierry Mugler giftbags with the Angel perfume (NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD TBH). Magical night. He stopped for all my friends outside of the party too.
