Lady Palutena 3,147
Unfortunately. I just wish she didn't have to be controversial ALL THE TIME. I want a safe easy fun era. All of GaGa's Eras were controversial. . Me too. I want a "The Fame"-Esque album tbh The Fame Era had its share of controversies. Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis. Nate 0
Ugh, I'm just not here for Gaga not thinking this through. I'm doubting a little bit. Her Government Hooker/Americano/Bloody Mary/... lyrics, I mean, they're not.. When she tries too hard, that's where it goes wrong. Or maybe I should say: when she doesn't try hard enough. I just hope that song doesn't turn out to be a mess

RAMROD 109,223
Yes it had. Quite a few times actually. Example both QUEEN and Eskimo Joe had a song with "Bismillah" on it. Another English band of differenr generation, Skunk Anansie, had adzan prayer on their first single Charlie Big Potato. and many more example. But one of the most known probably this one. An opening interlude to her Re-Invention Tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cliUcNOyxZA&feature=youtube_gdata_player Although she was wearing all these Moslem garbs. The verses she reads are coming from Holy Bible, The Book of Revelations. Now if that is not blasphemous then I don't know what it is and she is doing fine. She still live today. So we just have to trust her. It is not like she is going to bash the belief. She will be respectful enough to keep herself on track. Besides, art is liquid.I'm a little worried because of the song with such a title The media, on the other hand, will create such an uproar Does anyone know whether artist have played with Islamic religious imagery this way before?
