Just because we like M.I.A. and are against Madonna making out as though what M.I.A. did was completely "shocking" compared to Madonna's past - doesn't mean that we support her being rude to other artists. Good to know. Although I wasn't JUST talking about the MIA fans here. I've seen them in other places and... they're a little messy. I just think it's just as hypocritical for you guys to bash Madonna, as it is for Madonna to criticize MIA for something Madonna is KNOWN FOR DOING. Both sides are just as wrong. Also, why are MIA fans still getting their panties in a wad over it though? They cheer on MIA when she bashes other people, but GOD FORBID MADONNA ACTUALLY SAYS SOMETHING -mature- about MIA. What Madonna said is clearly not bashing, it actually came off as really mature. What MIA has said about other artists... lolno. And who cares WHY Madonna said it, Madonna still said it regardless. I love how MIA fans just can't take the heat though. I absolutely love MIA the artist, but MIA the person needs to get her **** together. I understand if she didn't want her to do it because it was supposed to be a family show etc and she clearly wanted to be the center of attention, but I think it's absurd that she called her actions "irrelevant" when Madonna has done the very same thing and swears a lot at her shows. So much for that feeling of "love and unity" she so desires if she believes a mere middle finger destroys that. I do not cheer her on when she bashes other artists. That's besides the point. I'm a huge MIA and Madonna fan. I was a fan of MIA before I was ever a fan of Madonna, but I can't stand seeing the two fanbases dislike each other so much.
