I’m still finding new stuff in RDD and KCD2, probably won’t find half of it. So os some of the super detail needed?

I know why, don't come for me, but idk that just seems mental. It kinda locks a tonne of people out from being able to play it. But then again the people at Rockstar are just in a massive circle jerk these days over breaking boundaries and having the more 'detailed' game above everything else, so I shouldn't be surprised I'm assuming it's a combination of what you described and also because they are atp rushing the game out. So there's no optimizing it. I'm hoping it's not like Ark though, which reinstalls the entire game with every update and will update multiple times a week following major content drops.

I’ve seen that a dev revealed if your character were to walk in a straight line continuously without stopping it would take 35 minutes of real time to go from one side of the map to the next. Plus RP servers became MASSIVE in GTA between the two games where people just did regular things like jobs, buy apartments etc. I’ve played RP maps where a players whole playtime was pretending to be a police officer and arrest players who commit crimes. The biggest wish lists and hype AI videos were of people wanting the game to function more like a life simulator than an Action/Crime game. Fanmade RP servers were/are so big Rockstar is making their own RP server when GTA 6 online starts that you have to pay to use. And they’re stomping down on modding the new game essentially. I was going to say that it sounds poorly optimised but wasn't sure if that was correct for a game of this magnitude. Sounds about right though. Rockstar haven't just become a parody of what they once were, they've become the very parody THEY used to make games about 18 hours ago, gagzus said: I think it’s because of the demand for open worlds and graphics is bigger and bigger. I used to play on the NoPixel servers and had a job at an Italian restaurant and I'll tell you those RPers do not play about their immersion my character was a loose cannon and I liked to just run around and mess with people but once I got that job I was directed outside the game, irl, to a discord server that I was expected to check daily for updates, rosters, etc like a real job It actually really pisses me off that they're coming down on modders. Some of the most entertaining content I've seen was YouTubers playing with the chaos mod, or the ones where peds have weapons and attack everyone And a little side tangent: recently I've been wanting to do get back into Twitch streaming, and my idea was to do a playthrough of GTA5 with the character models swapped (Tracey as Trevor for example) and maybe I'd dress up because I personally find it hilarious when streamers do bad cosplay of the characters.. but then I realised GTA6 comes out next month and NOBODY will want to watch any GTA5 content for the next 6 months (or 6 years) I missed my damn window I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
