Bennett, Lapid urge supporters vote immediately, as battle to shape narrative continues

Naftali Bennett, leader of the Together alliance that is part of the opposition bloc, is the latest figure to urge supporters to vote en masse by warning that their opponents are doing the same.

In a post on X, Bennett said Israelis should be alarmed by a “surge in draft dodgers”, referring to Netanyahu’s ultra-Orthodox coalition partners, who have sought military service exemptions for their community.

He urged Israeli youth and reservists to “go out and immediately vote” for his alliance.

Yair Lapid, who co-founded the Together alliance with Bennett, said additional mobilisation could help send several of the alliance’s candidates into the Knesset.

“There is a need to put in more effort,” said Lapid in a video shared on X. “Get out of your homes and rally people.”

Surely, assuming the exit polls hold, the best answer for Eisenkot is poaching the Haredi parties? It'll be hard with Lieberman, but it's worth a go.

Impossible because their goal is not to serve at the military and he will not accept it... his only chance is Ra'am.

I would prefer an alliance with the Arab parties, but surely Eisenkot/Bennett would never accept that. They've spent the whole campaign saying they wouldn't.

Looks like there'll be another election soon with these results... shame that working with the Arab KMs means political suicide so they won't go down that road even if it means handing everything back to that monster and his psychopath partners

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?
