Like his 18th most successful song overall is his FIRST solo entry in his discography. With Crazy in Love, Umbrella and In Paris being his three most successful songs.

one thing I think people forget bc he’s been mostly out of the game for a while and bc of who his wife is is that he’s a great performer in his own right. He could absolutely put on a great show even if I’m sure it’ll have questionable politics

Lmao no lol you’re just measuring by pop metrics. That would be like saying Kendrick’s biggest hit was freedom off of lemonade lol just wrong stick to be measuring by. In the rap game he’s got plenty to pull from. Blueprint alone has a load of classics, reasonable doubt and the black album have others even sans features but ofc he’ll have features and that’s okay. You don’t need to do the show solo, you have to put on a great show which he definitely can whether he brings features or not. He also definitely doesn’t need Kanye for that (though In Paris would be soooo good; honestly he’d probably still do his verse anyway).

idk I think people underestimate his ability to put on a show but he’s one of the few rappers who I think is a good showman. Kendrick and Ye being two others but we did Kendrick and idc about seeing Ye atp.
