I praise her because she does gr8 music, always puts up a memorable show and is a simply iconic hard working beetch. As for the live vocals, yea it's a bit shitty, but eh, better that than a bad vocal moment to torture our ears, a lesson I wish miss Perry would learn  i mean in a perfect world they would invite Kylie or Rina Sawayama, hell even Gaga again would be gr8.

I appreciate the fact that he has put rap artists on the biggest stage of America, but we didn't need his show.... his biggest song is Empire State of Mind, and his 2nd biggest would be .... Run This Town? a different Kanye collab? Crazy In Love or Deja Vu? ....... hate that for us.

RnB, rap, and hip hop were long overdue to be performed at the halftime show considering the 1990s and 2000s and how, for a little while at least, mostly country and rock acts were selected, then pop acts. So I'm not mad at him feeling like he needed to overcompensate the past however many years. It's what many black people were always feeling about the halftime show those years.

Having said that, for him, who's holding all the decision-making power, to then choose himself when he's far from the only viable choice gives the appearance of narcissism even if his intentions are/were not. Seems like if you're the person picking who performs, the unspoken part is surely you wouldn't then pick yourself, but that's my own moral compass and nothing he or anyone else would care about...
