Ayesha Erotica 1,998
In 1995 49,4% of Québec voted for independence. It failed because Ottawa re-settled pro-Canadians with voting rights from other provinces to Québec. This is why Québec will always be bitter at Ottawa and they must subsidize Q for the rest of their lives as revenge. If Québec didn't achieve it, it is extremely unlikely that Alberta ever will. Also Alberta must stay within C so that they can continue to pay equalization payments to Q. Q didn't vote, only for A to leave and not get their money. An independent Alberta would pose and open new difficulties for British Columbia. to all the gays who say I’m History…I’M PROPHECY.

I thought Canada wasn’t messy lol They have the Countries highest GDP Per Capita, Nations highest wages, one of the youngest demographics, lowest debt burden of any Province so some feel like they are just draining economic resources being a chronic net contributor to the rest of Canada But "Western Alienation" is what really compounded the sentiment when many felt like Ottawa was always going aganst its interests by being hostile to oil and gas industry. They feel Canada has no issue taking their money but then actively works against their full potential by blocking pipelines, forcing carbon taxes on them they never supported or wanted implenented and also stiffled their industry with complicated beaureocratic environmental regulations and lengthy approval processes etc (nedless to say Trudeau was absolutely hated by many there as a more left leaning Liberal) Basically in short they feel Canada only takes but doesnt give. Theres always multiple sides to the coin and these are complicated things with a lot of nuance. And some seperatists only look at what they dont like by being part of Canada but ignore downsides of seperation like being landlocked, having new costs like setting up their own defence, a much smaller market etc... so im not saying their arguments make sense in everything, but im explaining the reasons from their point of view Edited 21 hours ago by Economy

British Columbia could also make things hard for Alberta Unlike Quebec, Alberta has no direct access to water which is a major disadvantage as a sovereign Nation and would be reliant on treaties with BC to access ports

Polls put suppor for seperation at 25% to 30% range at the most But some have suggested pissed off Albertans who dont really wanna seperate may vote yes just to make a point (especially if they feel confident the vote will be a no anyway) so the ones who may vote yes may exceed the polls if that does indeed happen

We do not indulge in much and there still isnt a tone left over despite 2 fulltime incomes and no kids In AB I could buy a bigger house for cheaper and potentially actually shrink my mortgage even with transaction/moving costs

Like China can transport goods there but because the Russian port is so shîtty, development is slow and bad to all the gays who say I’m History…I’M PROPHECY.
