There are many women doing modeling on Insta that I follow who I think they look iconic because of their natural beauty. Modern fashion appreciate a lot more individuality despite the fact that fashion should keep doing more efforts. The difference is I don't applaud Gaga for how she looks but her voice, music and artistry, which you cannot buy off the shelf. And of course the messages in her music. Has she had work done and does it add to her brand? Sure. But I won't applaud Gaga for looking snatched as much as I would for how good Abracadabra sounds or how artistic the Bad Romance video is or how powerful Born This Way as an anthem. I am just not down for celebrating a billionaire that can spend money to make herself look better (and comes from a family that has a long running track record of doing the same). I mean she looks great and good for her. But I am not really going to idolize or be impressed by that.
