Remember the crazy early AI video of Will Smith eating that couldn't keep the shape of a human being? Like 6 months later it could. And now its replacing models and commercial actors. In a year or two, without the working class forcing regulations and job security, it'll be able to do your job quicker and cheaper while most of the people in your line of work who sat back complacently bc they thought they were safe like you will be jobless and acting like they've always been against this. Just like the game developers now, the commercial actors before that, the surveillance technicians before that, and the transcriptionists before that. Which all could have been stopped with a collective backbone, a cup of situational awareness, a tablespoon of foresight, and a dash of empathy for your fellow working class members. The recipe always seems to be a little too complicated for people who aren't starving. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
Chromanne 2,963
GUYS! Understand two things 1. There is still no direct proof that AI is used in the Expectations music video. But there can be a possibility that AI could have been used for in-between frames but it could also be just a human error or a glitch. But we can say that AI is not used to generate images/hands through the BTS footage. 2. GenAI has many disadvantages, mainly environmental impact and decline in creative skills. Yes it's cheaper and get things done quicker. Many small businesses may not afford graphic designers and they would choose to use AI since it's cheaper for them. Olivia can afford graphic designers and animators and had indeed hired them for making this animation for her music video. If it's proven that AI is indeed used for in-between frames, then it's the fault of the animation team, not hers.

Offer something that is unique and needs a human view. Its in your best interest because AI isn't going anywhere. no. i’m not “adapting.” i’m not going to sit there and take genai laying down. i don’t need to do anything but refuse to accept that ai is becoming prominent. if something is ignored long enough, it dies off. which is exactly what i’m doing. please don’t piss me off right now, i don’t have the energy. i’m recovering from a life-changing surgery and don’t need my energy going elsewhere. everyone keeps saying "oh, he's back, he's back!" but the truth is i never left!
