I used to love this whenever I felt down in my angsty teen years:

I still listen to this whenever I feel sad but am determined to go on yet still honour my feelings in the moment because it understands the importance of sadness to improve a situation. The line "rise above yourself" gets me every time:

Currently I'm listening In Pure Faith by Carly Rae Jepsen when I'm stressed and need some tears. It sounds bittersweet and hopeful rather than sad and that kind of music makes me sensitive.
