I know, I’m new here but not that new … just reviving the archives for the sake of a Friday share … stay copacetic, all in kairos time …

or maybe gaga historically doesn't feel like she has to defend herself publicly against ridiculous conspiracies caused by terminally online folks

Thank you 🙏

Don't all make up brands debut a new line with limited shades that they expand on later? It doesn't make sense not to make them all available at once but I guess it's to do with testing the waters in case the line doesn't do well and production can be halted on just a small selection as opposed to having a shedload of products that aren't going to sell. I don't know what the drama is but it sounds like an absolute storm in a teacup to me.

I would remember that a company like Haus Labs has many employees. Somebody, or multiple people on the team, dealt with Golloria's criticism completely the wrong way. It sounds like they have had the right conversations to ensure it doesn't happen again. Thankfully Haus Labs has a good track record for being inclusive otherwise this could've looked a lot worse for them. So in the sake of fairness.. they pulled back, corrected, and moved forward the right way. Hopefully it was an isolated incident

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Haus Labs had made it a point to be inclusive for all skintones. That means they need to (at the very least) accommodate the very lightest and darkest skintones. Brands can spend time afterwards filling in some gaps inbetween, but if inclusivity is a cornerstone of the brand, the initial launch needs to have a decent breadth.

These bronzing veils didn't meet those requirements (the shades seemed quite bad across the board), so the criticism is valid.
