Also hated the exposition dump at the end of episode 4 Spoiler But I will say I GAGGED when Jessica’s secret 5th character turned out to be Margaret Thatcher to be sacrificed and they spent the most time dragging her out of all the repugnant women despite the fact Hitler’s literal wife was there and a Russian dictator It’s so obvious that The Countess was gonna be one of the sacrifices too. Also not the podcast episode basically spoiling Madison and Ben are gonna fall in love. The set photos and the trailers also spoil that Cordelia is obviously not gonna be dead. Did actually love Alex’s acting in this, she plays a great goth angsty teen witch. I did love the campiness of John Waters during the entirety of the fourth episode I must say. There’s been set photos of her and the witches in New Orleans recreating the iconic scene from Coven with Fiona. A sequence that hasn’t happened yet, and the only reason the ghosts could come after her last episode is because it was Devil’s Night when ghosts can leave the place they are bound to for one night, so she definitely isn’t gonna be a ghost who helps them. Plus in the preview for next week, there’s a blink and you miss it clip of Alex Cosani’s character bringing her back to life with Mallory. They’re making it pretty HEAVY handed that the girl who also survived the crash is clearly a satanist who’s gonna be like Judas and betray Ben since he is a clearly a Christ figure. princedeeblebleble 4,030 Posted October 23 Share Posted October 23 I kind of don't get rhe point of this season the coven bits and whenever Jessica is on the screen are great tv moments, but everything else is such a dumpsters fire. And the guy playing Nas/Satan is such an UNCONVINCING lord of the dark that it's kind of painful whenever he switches to the demonic voice I fvcking CRINGED! He's not even hot enough nor charming enough for such a role, like couldn't Ryan have gotten Tom Ellis for those few scenes :p it was so ridiculous seeing Jessica be such a powerhouse and then he was like a wet puppy next to her and we're supposed to feel like he's in charge? 3 more episodes and I honestly don't know which way this will go Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

What CANT he do? The shoe horning of Sister Jude made me nearly SCREAM. Like where does this even fit into Jude’s story? Was she pregnant when she left to be with Kit and his kids? When did she give birth before she died? I if it was in Briarcliffe at what point in the story was she pregnant? Why was her hair so long, why was she frantic and praying when she never was like that even after or before being electrocuted. There’s too many plot holes. So they’re all shoehorned into the season. It’s so obvious this season was meant to be only about the Coven with Constance maybe appearing briefly as one of the sacrifices but it just spiralled.
