SO Underrated

I was just listening to ARTPOP again and when Swine came on I teared up it is such an incredible song. The intense production, the random piano in the middle, the screaming and pig sounds, the deep meaning it is all amazing.

One thing I really like about some of the songs on The Fame is that the production and specific synth lines match the lead and bg vocals (on songs like Poker Face, Just Dance, Eh Eh) and here it reminds me of that because her voice suits the production so well and I'm glad she really went there because the pure rage, anger, intensity and passion in her voice really make this song as incredible as it is. Also I know a lot of people prefer the iTunes festival version of the song to the album version but I much prefer the album version and I think it is just perfect, the structure, bg vocals, drops and intensity make this one of the most unique songs in her whole discography and one of my all time favs. Now my ultimate fav from ARTPOP is still ARTPOP (the song) but Swine is definitely in my top 5. I remember listening to it for the first time when I bought the CD back in 2013 and the build up to the drop really surprised me (in a good way) and it has been one of my favs since then.

100%! My favorite track on the album. It's the song that fits the most the way she described the album "her pain exploding into electronic music"

There are climaxes just before and during the main screams of the song and I love that too!
