I was at Yale when it first aired, so I related to the show a lot (being set in Connecticut, and for other reasons I won't spoil...). A town near me does a GG-themed festival in September. The actors who play Luke, Kirk, and Emily are going to attend this year and do some Q&As. I'm looking forward to it (it's next weekend). Deciding if I want to pony up the money to have coffee with Kirk or Emily. It's such a cozy show, especially for autumn. It's like a warm cup of cocoa. Just ignore the plot holes and continuity errors. The dialogue is witty, and the atmosphere is charming. My favorite episode is Season 1, Episode 8, "Love & War & Snow." It's very much a product of the early 2000s, for better or for worse. I adore Lauren Graham (actress who plays Lorelai) so much.
