I feel like I understood what she was trying to say with each song. It's interesting for a long time fan witnessing her growth over time. But even more so how when your particular aesthetic or niche (promiscuous drunk/high party girl) doesn't match your personal growth, the music output somewhat loses it's bite. I started to see it in her last album a bit but it was still really good. This one has a lot of fun moments, but some of it feels a little "this is what's cool right now" or somewhat juvenile. When you look at an artist like Kesha (similar party girl aesthetic) she's been able to consistently deliver the same upbeat punchy energy yet is more versatile than Tove imo.
