Variety’s reporting about Matthew Rhys winning both lead Emmys sounds so gay

Matthew Rhys recently made history by winning both the Comedy lead Emmy and the Drama limited Emmy in one night.

Variety wrote about it, and this paragraph seems like they’re somehow happened to use every possible gay term to describe his success:

he pulled off the bigger surprise, edging the presumptive favorite Oscar Isaac (“Beef”) along with Riz Ahmed (“Bait”), Jason Bateman (“Black Rabbit”) and Charlie Hunnam (“Monster: The Ed Gein Story”). On the comedy side, Rhys topped Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Wonder Man”), Steve Carell (“Rooster”), Jason Segel (“Shrinking”) and Martin Short (“Only Murders in the Building”).

I mean look at how many men he topped after edging Oscar Isaac.

Deserved. His work in Widows Bay (and the show I'm general) is outstanding.

He was amazing in it. I actually loved the way he would squeal or scream when he was scared instead of being the stoic male. The show itself also really succeeded in being spooky while also have comedy, with the comedy not neutralizing the scariness. Not easy to do.
