I've been wondering the same thing. Gaga strikes me as the type to get married secretly and reveal it weeks, maybe months later. I've been waiting on a belated announcement to explain where she's been the last few months but clearly, this was the announcement. I wonder if they got married first because at the end of the day, she is from an Italian Catholic family who will be expecting marriage first, then babies. Of course, she's a modern woman and can do it any way she wants but considering she's been engaged multiple times now yet never had children, I assumed it was because she wanted to have a ring on her finger before motherhood. But at her age, women are generally advised by doctors that if they want a baby, regardless of how you want to do it, they have to forget about wedding planning and just focus on conceiving as you never know when your last fertile day will be when you get into your 40's. I've heard of cases where a quickie marriage just for immediate family is held, just so they can say it's official and then concentrate on babies and save a bigger ceremony until after that side of things has been worked out.

I mean... I don't wanna elaborate too much on this* but we should've known that given her health condition she would've never said something about a pregnancy until actually having the baby.

*I'm totally against commenting on anyone else's body but that belly was pretty telling, just like Rihanna's at the SuperBowl and most were in denial. I won't say more about that... It's really unfortunate paparazzi took pics of her at that private event, she's been very vocal about having a family in the past few years while also clearly been way more reserved for a reason.

And of course she had to deny being pregnant back then. Imagine not only having to go through that situation privately but also having to explain what happened. She knew since her documentary (before actually) that it wouldn't be easy for her but it's great that she finally got the stability and the baby she wanted for so long
