She doesn't have a big fanbase and doesn't appeal to the younger generation. She did very good with the tour itself, so maybe focusing on being a touring/nostalgic/greatest hits artist will be more profitable for her. At the same time I admire her for putting out new content even with the bad reception. Her brand is overly cringe and failed to deliver a serious banger since. For someone that lived through her success, I don’t feel any connection to her newer material, and she obviously isn’t reaching the new generation of audience. Bandaids was a step in the right direction, but what the hell she did with Watch It Burn(video) was so awful. On top of being poorly executed, it didn’t even make sense and was painful to watch. If I had any advice, she needs to step away from the wanna-be plastic pop star, and find better producers.
