There’s a growing movement of people disconnecting and returning to less smart devices because the tech industry has lost trust profoundly. That would be my assumption 1

27monster27 16,039
1. Based on what I've read, the Macklemore thing about an anti-semitic costume was debunked. Nevertheless, he apologized and saw how it could be misconstrued. 2. Macklemore made it abundantly clear that his issue was not with Jewish people. His issue was with Zionism and the ongoing genocide. Zionism =/= Judaism. 3. While she tried to make this come off sincere, I am struggling to see what her point was? She never explicitly stated exactly what her thoughts on the ongoing conflict were. She danced around that answer. 4. What did she find scary in his speech? His main points were to give the Palestinian people freedom from oppression, ending the genocide, and that all children deserve to grow up peacefully. She only seemed to make it clear that she agree with the first point. What about the others? I am personally concerned that she saw him saying that as scary, especially when he already said that he was not targeting Jewish people. He wore a black wig, beard and a halloween witch nose from some costume store and people calimed it was "Jew face". He denied it was his intention and apologized. Frankly, I don't think he was trying to depict a Jewish person at all. Edit: But I'm not Jewish nor American and I don't know enough, so I'm sorry of his costume indeed was inappropriate lol get serious ABRⱯCADⱯBRA
StrawberryBlond 15,665
At least she made it clear that she doesn't support what's happening to the Palestinians. But she didn't outright says she's against the war itself which is weird. Like many are saying, she kept repeating that we're just assuming what her views are yet won't explain what they are. It all came across as "woe is me" and seems to have been said out of necessity when we know that if all this had been met with support, she wouldn't have attempted to take it all back. She must have known in this current climate where most people are on Palestine's side how such a re-post would've been received. Some things are better discussed behind closed doors especially if you feel your viewpoint is so controversial that it won't be looked at favourably if made public. If this has proved anything it's that celebrities had a much easier time with their public image before Twitter. Now so many of them are a PR nightmare because they choose to go rogue and post something for the whole world to see that hasn't been run through a publicist before being printed or broadcast like it used to. For better or worse, we were all much better off when we didn't know the beliefs of every famous person.
Roughhouse Dandy 13,862
It's not even a war. Idk why people are falling for that. It's a rhetoric method to manufacture consent and validate the violence they are seeing. "War" insinuates strategic battles between 2 national armies that have their own state-controlled resources. Israel illegally controls Gaza's energy, water, airspace, and borders. Hamas is a political movement with an armed militia against Israel's atrocities. The violence we saw in 2023 was forceful resistance against apartheid that Israel used as an excuse to enact their plans of expansion through the eradication of the population they want gone. G-e-n-o-c-i-d-e. It's a genocide. Edited 10 hours ago by Roughhouse Dandy This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

SleepingSun 1,562
Gurl, come on! No amount of backpedaling, apologizing and explaining can fully undo the damage she inflicted on herself. Her message is full of words and yet says nothing. The typical 'drown them in words' strategy. Pitiful! Keep being a genocide apologist elsewhere, Pink.
