SavetheEarthNow 270 Posted yesterday at 03:07 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:07 AM I wouldn't say I really idolized anybody. I was just a casual listener of pop music, country music, what was on the radio. Spice Girls, Backstreetboys, NSYNC, Nelly Furtado, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, etc. Lady Gaga was the first real artist that I started to follow and listen to all the time and literally hang on to everything she did and does. atemybrain 2,161
I mean I was 7 when Gaga started her career, so she has always been my true idol. BUT I did love Rihanna right before Gaga exploded on the scene, and Good Girl Gone Bad was the first album I ever asked my mom to purchase for me in the store (The Fame was soon to follow haha). Not us having the same first idol before eventually moving on to Gaga
RebeldeFaith 5,783
These divas were my first Latina idols; Anahi, Dulce, and Maite. I lived and breathed for the band RBD, but the girls shaped my homosexual teenage self in ways I'm thankful for. And my first American idol was, of course, the first American Idol herself, Kelly Clarkson. I became a fan of both at around the same time, so when RBD covered a Kelly Clarkson song in one of their albums I became a new person. Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza?
