I actually do resonate with ya on that, girl. For real.

That was.......cheap.

 

 

But this is further why I think Michael is kind of in her ear a little bit and changing her. I don't think he is evil or anything. But I think he is having a- let's just say "effect" on her own convictions. I never thought I'd see the day she had a filler track, truly. But Mayhem has true filler on it in my opinion and the ones I think that are filler-all have Michael in the credits.

Currently, Bruno's at #1 with 132m monthly listeners and Gaga's at #6 with 99m. Gaga clearly benefitted more?

But no, DWAS wouldn't have been nearly as huge if it was solo for either of them. The GP loves Bruno's cheesy (cliche, imo) music and they love Gaga on songs like Shallow, ARUTW, Million Reasons, and DWAS and remember her for others like Bad Romance and Poker Face.

Nobody really knows who those other artists are  I never said Gaga was a flop or gave Bruno credit for her success, she was already clocking 30-40 out of Spotify's ~13 million artists which is crazy when you think about it.

Her name recognition is monsterous and she already has a catalogue of hits stretching back 20 years. Of course she's going to outperform people who might have one or two moderate hits, with or without Bruno.

A king maker, he is not. But he does lend some streaming potential to an already popular artist when they make a song that meshes with their respective wheelhouses.

Just so that we are clear, you responded to a poster who pointed out the hypocrisy in people saying Gaga should thank Bruno for her biggest hit but not the other way around with Bruno thanking Gaga for his biggest hit of his career. I pointed out the accomplishments of Gaga in comparison to Bruno’s other collaborators and even that Abracadabra has streamed more than the solo songs off his latest album. We are both in agreement(I think), that the song did well due to the artist’ involved talent, quality of the song, contributions to the song, and star power of both.

Communication is a must. The victory of two brands associated to each one, equal two winners.

It doesn’t determine quality. Twitter Stan language over facts always amuse me since it’s always pure non-events. Theories are supposed to explain facts not to downplay it with absurd and insulting abstract probabilities.

Billie has a lot of visibility on ads and random medias, more than Gaga. Yet the rare effect worked so well like a charm.

Bruno made a collab with Sexy Red and it didn’t worked.

Further more than that, Gaga has more monthly streams on Youtube music than Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift or even Billie Eilish. Like... Come on, when it’s a good news you don’t need to bring your "sciences", just enjoy the facts. No need to create wars even on your favs fansite too.

Oh and Abra almost reached the billions on Spotify. Thank you who ?
