When was DWAS added to Mayhem?

She was working on the tracklist in November 2024 based on the Elle interview but I think it had been decided since Sept-Oct it’d end up on Mayhem

I think we all know by now it was decided after. Gaga's always been okay with crafting a narrative around track lists, though. This is the same woman who told us every song on The Fame Monster was about a different "monster" that comes with fame. Meanwhile, Telephone was originally a demo for Britney Spears and Speechless is about her dad and Luc.

I mean for BTW they had a track list and a mastered standard edition prepared by the time she shot the second album cover (the original shoot happened earlier in 2010 and has never leaked). A lot of the final tracks from even the standard version weren’t on that version, some had different names (like HURTL being simply called Road to Love) and some of the deluxe tracks like Black Jesus (called Amen Fashion) were on that track list. 

Exactly this. Gaga’s too known to finalize very late for me to believe that she had a master plan for *this song so far out. And it’s okay, but ofc it was a late add. Hits like that (organic and sustained) just rarely happen anymore. They’d have been dumb not to put it on mayhem

I don’t know about the vinyl pressing facts but as someone that’s personally combed through the album’s stems and multitracks most of them have August 2024 in the file names

Those are multiple track stems on individual songs though. That has nothing to do with when the tracklist was finalized and records were pressed

The original version of the multitracks that were circulating before they leaked had fully rendered versions of the acapella, instrumental and full songs after mastering in them. Usually this is so they have versions of the song they can send out to remixers when official singles happen or when they need to edit together a live track for the in-ears of live performances or to make “tv tracks”. This is for continuity because otherwise they’d have to get in touch with a producer each time to re-render it track by track but that’s assuming they don’t delete the project files. The leaked version didnt have a project file in it and most stuff in it was upscaled to .wav, but the original project files (like the Disease one Gaga played around with on that one interview) were in the circulated one before the upscale. The render dates of the files are from 2024 and the last song to be rendered was Shadow of a Man on September 10th. You can fudge metadata but you can’t change the date of a files creation. 
 

For example when you see things leak as ProTools that basically means they’re files from directly inside the programme they made the song on. So if you use ProTools to open it with all the files and the project file the exact setup (including the plugins if you have them) will open.

None of that is evidence of when the vinyl records were pressed or when the track listing was finalized though…  I don’t understand what any thing you just said has to do with whether DWAS was added to the album before or after its release, especially when you just mentioned they were working on the album still till September.. so the album wasn’t finish then and had not been sent out till after September, which is after DWAS was released..

Yeah but they did not show us this proof or provide any dates of when the vinyls were pressed… that is literally all I been asking for since page one of this thread and here we are on page four now.. and according to them what WAS found in the data actually doesn’t really prove sht. the person above actually just proved to us that since shadow of a man was last worked on September 10th 2024, then the album vinyl records were NOT MADE until AFTER then which is AFTER DWAS was released yall
