I’ve said this so many times. Joanne was not the album that I wanted but it ultimately became the album that I needed. I’m curious to see what my Apple rewind will look like at the end of the year because I’ve probably played songs from this album like a million times this year.

I would love some 10 Year Merch honestly, the album was such a moment, and it sucks how the fact that it wasn’t her most avant-garde is such a road block for so many people! For me, it truly stands up there with the rest of her work, and tbh, I don’t even think it’s her worst album!

Although it isn’t my favourite album, it’s still better than it’s predecessors because the sound, themes and lack of filler makes it flow well and it shows a maturity to the public that we as fans already knew beforehand.

The only sins I didn’t like about the album and it’s era was Dancin in Circles (which is clearly a filler track to add a “pop” song to the track list) and they wasted the Super Bowl on this era when Mayhem would’ve been SO MUCH better for it. Because thematically it would’ve made sense with Mayhem. 

I don’t think Gaga would do a proper remix album and be involved, she clearly wasn’t involved in DoC to the point it’s just a Bloodpop album with some Chromatica samples thrown in. And BTW was different but once again, I doubt she was actually involved in it.

Also Perfect Illusion is CRIMINALLY underrated because it’s top 3 of her best singles alongside Disease and Abra. Bad Romance is probably #4 or #5 though. Interchangeable with Born This Way.
