Better Popstar: Pink vs Miley

My heart is totally with Miley and she gets my vote. I think she has probably the most unique voice in pop. I love her low low voice and don’t really like it too much when she tries to make it higher and girlier.
 

But the most iconic adult Miley songs, WB and Flowers, imho are 2 of the most overrated songs in her catalog. Give me High, Angels Like You, EOTW. Give me Malibu-the words are kinda corny but it’s such a pretty song. Give me Slide AWay. Hell yes give me The Climb and PITUSA. Give me Lighters from Dead Pets. But I just find the first two songs generic and I maintain Bangerz is very overrated and rides on nostalgia.

I like Pink’s voice and she has some bangers, but if MC can continue to develop her own identity as an artist-something I think she’s struggled with hence why she spent a half decade doing a superstar version of karaoke (I love most of her covers but it got out of hand for a while like when she did a whole sports halftime gig singing covers), my money is on her emerging the better artist.

What prime? She's always been middling at best with the same audience as Justin Timberlake.

pink found her sound and lane. miley has yet to find her sound that fits her talent.
