but I admit I am curious to see how this show is going to "out do" certain things from the films

Imagine a world where creativity and inspiritation mattered more than banking on people's nostalgia

We could absolutely have another Harry Potter, LOTR, GOT etc if these studios actually cared about more than making quick bank. It's so annoying how art is straight up dying in our overly obsessed with consumption world.

This just feels wrong. Every few years I revisit the original movies because they're true classics, especially Deathly Hallows Part 2. But dragging it out for it to be something for the Generation Alpha....it's not for them. Let it exist in the past. Let it die. Ironically, it's a series about embracing death. Whatever. Won't be streaming this nonsense.

I never liked the originals that much anyway (I was more into the Star Wars and LOTR as a kid) but most of this looks like a fanmade version of it. Like the sets are almost identical, the acting is pretty wooden like the original and the bits missing from the books don't add much to warrant a series imo. It doesn’t add anything that the dull originals didnt already have.

But I know straight people, terfs and millennials who can’t grow up will make this a success and make trans people’s lives hell. 

And any member on here who is going to watch or fund this I hope you burn in hell sister.

The money they spent on this could’ve made a new book’s world come to life, literally there’s so many amazing fantasy stories that deserve to be made into live action.
