Cubans living in Florida are being deported to Africa

The Trump administration is sending immigrants to countries in Africa as part of its third-country deportation strategy. The U.S. Department of State said the Trump administration is using “all lawful options” to carry out what it called “the largest deportation operation in history.” “When an individual is no longer in ICE custody then ICE will no longer be responsible for them,” the agency said.

They don't speak the language and some of them had health issues, like diabetes which received no treatment. About 70 people were deported so far.

Cuba is 90 miles away from Florida. People literally get to Florida from Cuba on makeshift rafts.

The intentional cruelty to send them halfway across the world instead is staggering.

Basically, they're deporting them to any country that will agree to take them when their origin country refuses or wants the US to follow the law.
