Sneaky Oliver

Well considering the next album might be about either marriage or pregnancy (or divorce :abra:), I can see her going for words like Miracle, Family, Love for the title

I think Joanne coming out after ARTPOP kinda set a standard, I mean we started expecting the next record to be somewhat different/ opposite from the previous one but since Mayhem is referenced her old music, it feels like a blank canvas, we truly don’t know the direction she might go for sonically

My fantasy titles would be:

Radio Gaga

The Aftermath

Creatures of the Underworld

Manic State

New Dimension

Music From Mars

LADY GAGA — LIMINAL

ambient synth-pop, slow electronic, psychedelic vibes - sounds like ARTPOP (the song)

Mainly quiet, suspended record about insomnia, memory, distance, dreams, airports, empty rooms, and feeling between versions of yourself.

singles:

3:17 AM

… stack the deck.

sleepwalks

Tracklist:

(1) liminal: drifting synths, almost no percussion

(2) 3:17 AM: whispered verses, soft pulse, sleepless-night atmosphere

(3) games in the glass house: dream-pop with chiming guitar, the games Gaga plays to stay centred, the games she plays to stay famous, the games she plays  to stay true to herself/her family, the games she plays to please the fans,

(3) somewhere between: warm synth ballad about being emotionally in transit

(4) blue television: eerie, synth, very late-night

(5) waiting rooms and passenger seats: slow, romantic, hypnotic.

(6)  … stack the deck: one of the more melodic songs; stomping base; shimmering electronic pop, revenge song about being done wrong.

(7) hotel curtain: barely-there percussion, piano, distant vocal layers

(8) sleepwalks: pulsing but subdued, like dancing half-awake

(9) the space you left: sparse heartbreak song

(10) cloud veranda - almost ambient, voice used as texture

(11) people become memories: devastating, extremely restrained. A negative outlook on loss.

(12) follow suit before sunrise: soft guitar and analogue synths, folk / country vibe, about letting go… a postive outlook on loss

(13) morning lady: simple synth chords and one close-miked vocal take.…. a long track; samples lyrics/Melodie’s from track 11 and track 12…. Play on words of morning / mourning, deep lyrics, themes on how can you grow if you don’t shed the past, how mourning in the present is a symbol that you loved in the past. Brooklyn Nights sample at the end. A balanced outlook on loss

(14) love from Stef: spoken word poem, reflective, confessional
