But they’re not polished at all, so I understand why the fans don’t feel the urge to go back to the album. In comparison, Born This Way sounds very unpolished too BUT it’s full of instrumental/vocal layers. It makes it all sound grand and bedroom-made at the same time. Joanne is basically both singer/songwriter material AND unpolished. So yeah, I understand why it’s her least popular album among the fans. The songs are great but they’re not the easiest to play on an average day, let alone the whole record.
