Yes we know Trump is a horrific president and human being but we need a strong and inspiring voice on the left giving us hope. Right now the focus is on the midterm elections (not presidential). Once the midterms are over the 2028 presidential election will kick into high gear. Technically nobody has announced that they are running for president yet because traditionally people do not announce until after the midterm elections. This time next year we will be talking a lot about the presidential candidates.
