Morphine Prince 110,224
Texas early voting starts tomorrow. There is no party registration, ignore anyone giving exact numbers based on parties. Texas has open primaries. Not even that data can be as accurate.

This specific poll was weighed on a R+14 scale (2024 results) so if accurate this is actually bad for Paxton. This election will probably not be R+14

This election will probably not be R+14 I think it may end up being the closest to the on the night score. I do think Talarico will win at this point, but I'll be shocked if its bigger than a 4% lead. Like. Its Texas. This Senate seat hasn't had a Democrat since the 1960's before the ideological shift of the modern parties. And the other Texas Senate seat hasn't had a Democrat since 1993, and the one who held it was pretty conservative. I am not going to stop telling people that a Democrat being consistently ahead in polling in Texas IS different. Will Paxton win? I wouldn't be surprised. But we have to BELIEVE it can happen for Talarico. It's a "now or never" moment.
Morphine Prince 110,224
Reminder: Beto O'Rourke was NOT consistently ahead in polling. Ted Cruz in 2018 was fairly unpopular. Ted Cruz only won by 2% Paxton is more unpopular than Cruz and this is Trump's second non-consecutive term where his approval is collapsing and Paxton is only here because of Trump. I genuinely believe we have a chance to flip this Senate seat. We can't be so overly pessimistic when the data we have is completely different from the past. It's kinda what Democrats always do. They ride the hopium train during the Summer and then crash out in October. Meanwhile, this is about the time Republicans start beating their chest I'm almost positive that you're gonna have a Democratic senator next January And if Nixon somehow wins here, I'll have a Democratic senator immediately Whimsical bitch
