AVeryGagaHolyDick 32,066
I feel that most people would say EarlyGa was from early The Fame to late ARTPOP, but is that how you guys see it? If you split Gaga’s career into two halves, the middle is mid-2017, right after the Super Bowl, the days of The Cure, when she was filming A Star Is Born. Do you consider ASIB the start of Gaga’s latest adventures? Do you even consider there’s an EarlyGa time at all? Discuss!

LOVEDRUG 11,319
I would consider it to be The Fame up to ARTPOP. I kind of disagree with the premise of splitting her career into two parts though. I think three works better. One for The Fame up to ARTPOP, one for Cheek to Cheek up to Love for Sale, and one from Harlequin onwards. I don't see how Mayhem is part of the same phase of her career as Joanne. I see what you mean, but if there’s three parts, I feel that it’s weird to put C2C and LFS in the same part… it’s hard to tell why, but I feel that Gaga was in a drastically different atmosphere. C2C (to me) belongs to the time of The Fame, Born This Way and such, while LFS is when Gaga was undeniably down, if not dead on the inside, with Enigma, Chromatica, Tudor etc. C2C feels like it was done with EarlyGa’s eye of the tiger

I'd put it at the very start of the second phase, but considering how entangled it was with the artRAVE and whatnot, I can absolutely see why you wouldn't. I would include ARTPOP in that early phase. In terms of management, commercial success and public perception, it was, up until that point, the low point of her career, and I think it works best as the project to close that chapter. gagacabana 8,061
EarlyGa being 2007-2017 makes sense to me as in the first decade of Lady Gaga, but in all honesty, it feels like EarlyGa ended the moment GaGa turned into Gaga (so like, BTW i think?) From ARTPOP to House of Gucci, it was the Dark Ages, which marks Joker-Mayhem as the Renaissance I don't believe in the glorification of murder, I do believe in the empowerment of women
