Once when I was working with this media company as a contractor, the intern and I ended up talking, and I asked him “Who is the first and last pop icon of the digital era?” and he sort of paused for a bit and thought about it, then it just settled on him and he’s like “… Gaga.”  Then we ended up in a whole conversession, and his favorite MV was Telephone and I went down the “Overrated in context, but let‘s break it down…” path; the next day, he had the Telephone MV playing on all the screens in the lobby … lil’ monstruos, they‘re all over the place

Another time, this waiter ended up talking with a friend at I when we were having breakfast … and at some point he said something that vibed in that lil’ frequency, so as he was heading to get maybe like lemon for water or something for the coffee, I think I just said “Oh, and don‘t forget my lipstick” … he turns around, and just beams “I LEFT IT IN YOUR ASHTRAY!”

Sort of a question, but more of a prompt I guess

ETA: Just remembered this barista at a coffee shop that just opened up and I had a brief conversation, and we exchanged names, and when he said his, he goes “It‘s Jude … like Hey Jude” and I continued “or like, Ju-dah” … again, he just beamed: “JU-DAS!”
