albums that you had expectations from, but they disappointed you

So many wrong opinions. 

albums that didn’t live up to expectations for me, personally: ARTPOP, Brat, C2 (and honestly every other album of hers since COADF), Joanne.

Chemistry was the first Kelly album since her debut where I just could NOT vibe with it. Like please don't let her go the Pink route. 

Why do artists with such incredible voices end up with such lackluster work?

For this year at least:

Jessie Ware - Superbloom - After her last really good album, this felt like a weaker follow-up.

Bebe Rexha - Dirty Blonde - The taster video of all the songs made so many of them sound more promising than they actually ended up being. 

Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love - Only liked about 3 songs on the whole thing and there was only one truly good one and after releasing the best album of her career, this was a massive disappointment. It's also just like what she's done from the start but not as good. Don't know what the critics and fans are seeing in it.

Marilyn Manson - One Assassination Under God Chapter 2 - After chapter 1 being a good return to form, I expected the same from this one. Only about 2 songs were halfway decent.
