It’s for the best. 

I was born and raised in Tennessee, just moved away in March so I spent 25 years there. Know tons of people who go each year and who work for it. 

They have a hell of a time keeping the farm in a good state for this. They pay ungodly amounts to do infrastructure and upkeep work every year and it only is able to amount to mostly bandaids. 

A full year off to do proper extensive work is the right call, especially as it grows in attendance and hype each year.
