Who had the best debut album?

i love so many debut albums, but i will go for Madonna & Born To Die.

I mean unless any of us have actually listened to every album on the poll in entirety (I have not, and I best most here havent) we cant really say

 

The Fame is my fav, but again, theres a bias there as I cannot compare to all albums on the list because i havent listened to all

 

Theres albums i have listened to in full I like more than The Fame (just not debut ones) so its possible some on that list id like more if i actually listened to it

It’s not on the poll but Let Go by Avril Lavigne is probably the best one. Many would say it’s her best album but I don’t agree with that (I think that’s Goodbye Lullaby and Head Above Water)

For my other favs comparison:

I don’t think The Fame is that great outside the singles but I love it.

ABBA’s debut Ring Ring is cute but like Gaga’s it pales in comparison to what they do later.

There are only two that I reckoned, The Fame and ...Baby One More Time

MJ solo peak definitely started with Off The Wall. That album is a huge breakthrough for him, so much so it overshadows his debut album. 

Madonna debut was huge, but I never get into her 80s albums. Her 90s eras was where she started to get interesting for me. So I never really put so much thought on that 80s runs. And I won't start now with this poll

The Fame had the best singles run, but Born To Die as a whole body of work is the best imo - from the 6 albums I heard on this list.
