Well that was kinda expected this to happen, they have all the fan faves actors booked and they are all booked on other stuff si I doubt they could have gone for a 5-6 months filming period

tbh since season 10 the episodes have been getting shorter and shorter anyway. But i hope it’s actually 30 minutes of show, not 22 minutes with commercials.

I didn't expect it. I'd had hopes that it would just be a rumour

it would be 30 mins with actual scenes but it's still a bit short for me

at least Ryan promised that we'll get three episodes per week

1st and 2nd week are 3 episodes

then 2 episodes for three weeks

and final episode on the Halloween week

I kinda expect 1st and last episode to be a bit longer

Honestly, if 30 minute episodes means that the show is more tightly plotted, paced, and plot threads are resolved, then why not? (Granted, I'm not watching it, soooo)

Because scale matters. There are lots of TV out there with 55-60-min episodes that are equally if not more tightly and coherently written. This makes AHS feels comparatively small and lacking in ideas and execution

You really think they are able to do that with such a big cast and so many returning characters? It's gonna be such a mess lol
