Search for his most recent collection and the previous ones, if you liked this, you're gonna drool on the rest. It's amazing.

I would say good entrypoints for bjork really depend on your musical sensibility and personality. For instance, im someone that tends to like heavy and harsh and sometimes austere electronic music and so vulnicura was an easy entrypoint for me after years of trying to understand her stuff and that came after loving Magdalene and people comparing it to Vulnicura. So I eventually was eased in and then her whole world opened up for me.

I didn’t enjoy Atopos or Utopia, but she has a lot of stuff that’s genuinely melodically beautiful (“One Day,” “Stonemilker,” “Unravel,” “Yoga,” “Hyperballad,” “It’s Not Up To You”). Ik these are fighting words, but a lot of Melanie’s recent material has really struck me as a poor man’s Björk On her last two albums, I totally see where you'd feel that way. I think she's gotten more percussive as the years have gone on. What I love is you can hear the genres she's pulling from and they're super abrasive ones typically and so it's like, "oh well yeah this is not going to have mass appeal." What I find interesting, though, is that unlike Biophilia and Vulnicura, I think that Fossora and Utopia are structurally much more reminiscent of traditional pop, but the elements that make them up are just more insane and harsh
